Spire made some changes back in version 3.11 to how selling prices are entered and maintained. This makes the pricing module more powerful and flexible and is a welcome addition to Spire. To support this Spire added a new Selling Prices tab to the inventory module which is very helpful for complicated, or tracking date specific pricing history. But some users report that they wanted to keep the ability to display multiple prices in the main inventory list, with one price per column.
SpireAssists has created a tool for users who want to the see the prices displayed the “old way”. You still keep the “new way” but can take advantages of some of aspects of the old way that users sometimes liked:
- All prices are shown next to each other on one row per item
- Only the current price is shown (based on actual date)
- Simple to use Spire to export a current price list based on the columns and filters you choose
Here is a video that shows you what the results look like and how it works.
